Lavender Lemonade

Pair the flavors of this refreshing lavender lemonade with a New Zealand Garden discovery itinerary! Our local Garden Guru, Jane Miller has shared her delicious lemonade recipe using dried French lavender buds from her garden. Jane has incredible landscaping with a variety of different themed flower beds throughout her property. Plus rows and rows of garden vegetables she is busy canning through the Fall. INGREDIENTS

  • 1 quart lemonade (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 tablespoon dried French Lavender Buds (available at many local lavender farms)

  • 1 cup boiling water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Allow the dried lavender to soak in the hot water for 1 hour.

  2. Using a sieve drain the liquid directly into the quart of lemonade and toss the lavender.

  3. Garnish with mint and a lavender flower and enjoy!
